Lead Service Technician

Job Description

The Lead Service Technician locates, investigates, and repairs the sources of leaks on customer’s roofs and completes other scope work provided by the Service Account Manager. The Lead Service Technician is responsible for completing the work at a high quality, while staying within the budgeted amount of time. The Lead Service Technician also mentors Service Technicians, teaching them the proper techniques and processes needed on each roof system. The Lead Service Technician inspects the roof after repairs are complete to report any defects that may become a problem in the future. The Lead Service Technician is the face of the company and needs to be professional and courteous.


The Lead Service Technician is responsible for the following:

  • Leading, managing, and holding a team accountable
  • Following safety procedures
  • Repairing roofs
  • Reporting roof conditions via a mobile app
  • Training Service Technicians
  • Providing customer service
  • Operating a truck and other equipment
  • Managing truck inventory
  • Maintaining flexible work hours with zero unexcused absences
